Thai Tech Ecosystem leader and angel investor supports Atlas Capital.

Amarit, a.k.a. Aim, is a serial entrepreneur, angel investor, and advisor. Renowned leader, he’s been educating Thais about technology entrepreneurship and angel investing for more than a decade. I met him in his coworking space exactly 10 years ago, where I started my first tech business thanks to him connecting me to my co-founder Pichaya Srifar during Thailand’s first hackathon.

Before being a friend, Aim have been a mentor, very much my like Thai uncle, teaching me the do and don’t of the South East Asian business culture & ethos.

Back then in 2014 Amarit founded Thailand’s first coworking space, which became the country's only Google for Startups Partner Hub and became the landing pad for all visiting tech entrepreneurs and investors from Silicon Valley to Thailand.

He then didn’t seems to stop as he founded Techsauce, one of Southeast Asia's (if not the world’s) largest tech conferences, attracting nearly 20,000 attendees yearly from more than 70 countries. — This runs every year and I can’t recommend it enough—

His dedication to the startup community has led him to angel invest in many top Thai startups and interact with over 1,000 startup founders over the past 10 years which led him to be a founding board member of the Thailand Business Angel Network, Thailand's largest angel investment association, where he serves as Vice President of Ecosystem Development.

Through Aim Ventures and various angel syndicates, he has invested in over 40 startups and funds, leveraging over a decade of experience in the technology startup ecosystem to support emerging industry verticals such as climate tech, health and wellbeing, food and agriculture and of course Ecommerce.

All of this epic services to the Thai community got him to be one of the first recognized Edmund Hillary Fellow, and one of the first Obama Leader (Asia Pacific), and has been recognized as one of Forbes Asia's Thailand's Startup Enabler of the Year in 2016.

I’m so honored to work with people like Amarit as my limited partners, advisors and A team to shape the future of Atlas Capital.
